Unknown assailants k!ll two wives of Kano businessman, burn bodies

Unknown assailants have m8rdered two co-wives in the Unguwar Tudun Yola community, Gwale Local Government Area of Kano State. 

The victims, both wives of one Alhaji Ashiru Shu’aibu, were k!lled in a brutal late night attack on Monday. 

Speaking to Freedom Radio Nigeria on Friday, Alhaji Shu’aibu said the attackers broke into his house in the middle of the night, k!lled his wives and burnt one of the bodies. 

“They entered our house at night, k!lled my wives and then set one of the bodies on fire. I still don’t know why they carried out this wicked act,” he said.

The spokesperson of the Kano State Police Command, CSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, who confirmed the incident said investigations are ongoing.
