Innocent man arrested on hospital bed after kidnappers sent money into his account and asked him to transfer it to another account

An X user has shared the story of a Nigerian man who was allegedly arrested on his hospital bed after kidnappers sent money to his bank account and asked him to transfer it to another account they gave him. 

One Ogunmusi disclosed this on Thursday, January 2, after a lawyer advised people not to do the same.

“Don’t say you weren’t informed. I know someone who was arrested on a hospital bed after kidnappers sent money into his account, which he then transferred to another account they requested. Nigerian police had a field day with him even when they knew he was innocent,” he wrote.
